My webmail is automatically keeping a copy of my sent messages which is taking up too much space. How can I turn this off?

1. Go to http://www.example.com/mail in your web browser.
2. Login using your username and password.
3. Click on the second-to-last icon in the toolbar that looks like a gear.  This is User Preferences.
4. Under Message Replying Options un-check the box next to Backup outgoing message to SENT folder.
5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
6. Finally, click the Continue button on the following page.
